The two frontrunners identified in a new poll in the byelection race in Etobicoke-Lakeshore participated in a lively all-candidates debate Thursday night.

Two Toronto city councillors who were heavy-handed in their criticism of the City Manager have been found in violation of the Code of Conduct.
In a report published yesterday, Integrity Commissioner Janet Leiper noted Councillors Mike Layton and Adam Vaughan had since apologized to City Manager Joe Pennachetti, and does not recommend further disciplinary action.

Councillors Mike Layton and Adam Vaughan both strongly criticized the report from Pennachetti in comments to the media after its release on April 8, with Vaughan saying there was “nothing real in the report” and that it was “fantasy” and Layton calling it a “fictional report.”
